CK Horizon
Who runs CK Horizon and how to get in touch.
Draft — pending review · Last updated 2026-08-27
CK Horizon is an evidence-led atlas of human–wildlife conflict in Burundi. It records incidents province by province, connects each to its triggers, conditions, underlying causes, impacts and follow-up, and keeps the source and verification status attached to every record.
The atlas is scoped to Burundi so that provinces and communes, local species and local conservation actors can be represented properly rather than flattened into a global average.
Researchers tracing patterns and evidence quality, conservation teams coordinating preventive action, and public-interest users who want to understand verified incidents without losing their context.
